Meet Cheryl
Cheryl Bloch is an Executive Producer and Life Coach based in Los Angeles, California. As both, she guides industry colleagues and her clients alike in getting the work done. For 15 years, Cheryl has been coaching from her backyard (literally!) with clients to achieve the best versions of themselves.
In her career, Cheryl produced all seasons of Northern Exposure which garnered her an Emmy and two Golden Globes. She then served as Senior Vice President of Current Programming at Universal Television Studios; Vice President of Drama Development at Fox; Senior Vice President of TV Development and Programming for AMC and Sundance; Partner at Wonderthink Inc. with Richard LaGravanese and Tony Goldwyn; and now currently, Co-Founder of Backyard Pictures with Director Lesli Linka Glatter. She’s had first look deals with Lionsgate, Universal, and Sony Pictures.
Since 2011, Cheryl has steadily dedicated her time to coaching clients at every stage of their career. From assistants to writers and high-level executives, Cheryl has helped them bring clarity to their own ambitions and build their confidence to achieve them. She received her Bachelors from New York University in Film & Television, Masters Degree in Coaching from the University of Santa Monica in 2011 and most recently completed her Business Certificate from CFJ’s Coaching Success School.
